Release Candidate 2 for jPod is now available. Changes include documentation improvements and API reviews.
The jPod release is to be expected together with CABAReT Stage 3.2 in october.

09/20/2007 - Preview for CABAReT Stage 3.2 released
The CABAReT Stage 3.2 preview is finally available.
Besides many extensions for creating and validating signatures and some other features, users will appreciate the public release of the programming API.
Along with the tutorial and jPod PDF library in the "SDK" section there is no limit for the experienced user when handling PDF documents.

07/16/2007 - Stage now for 64-bit Linux
Release 3.1.1 is now available for 64-bit Linux in the Download Area. It was successully tested in Ubuntu 7.04. We will gladly answer any questions about this release in our Forum. For reporting problems we also provide our Bugtracker.

12/05/2006 - Unexpected run for CABAReT for Linux
We as well as our partner intarsys were completely surprised of the enormous response to the CABAReT Linux prototype. We want to thank all people who tested the prototype and gave us feedback.
Due to the positive feedback we and intarsys will push the development of CABAReT for Linux.
At first we will fix discrepancies which were described in our forum as well in other communities. The next release will also contain a workaround which enables CABAReT to view and edit PDF forms created with Scribus.
Today’s release already contains a new CABAReT Instrument:
- signIT easy – Attach certificate based digital signatures to PDF documents and forms
Furthermore we will publish the following Instruments within the next weeks:
We aim to to publish the next release within the first quarter of 2007. Of course we will keep you informed in our forum.

11/21/2006 - New: CABAReT Stage & CABAReT Instruments for Linux
The first version of CABAReT, which run under linux, is available!
CABAReT for Linux contains following features:
- Fill, print and save PDF forms including the entered form data
- direct access to often used documents (Favorites)
- Online-Help
The linux version of CABAReT Stage can be found in the download center.
The following Instruments are already available:
- drawIT
- Freehand drawings and annotations in PDF documents
- inspectIT - View and manipulate internal data structures with the COS Browser.
- composeIT - Create and edit PDF forms

10/04/2006 - CABAReT version 2.1 is available
CABAReT Stage comes with a new wizard for page creation, insertion and substitution of whole pages within the PDF document. Also the JavaScript API has substantially grown since the last release. CABAReT composeIT comes with the new alignment tool as well as the possibility to define the tabulator’s order and so becomes a full PDF form editor. With CABAReT embedIT you can create intelligent forms and workflows for your PDF document. CABAReT journalize IT helps logs all changes of your PDF documents. The new CABAReT Instrument portraIT offers you the conversion of PDF documents into common image formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF and multi-page TIFF.

CABAReT was extended with new instruments which offer you the following functions:
- Draw and paint in PDF documents with drawIT.
- Import and export form data with exchangeIT.
- Browse through the internal document structure with inspectIT.
- Attach digital signatures to your documents by using signIT.
