CABAReT Stage Basic

CABAReT Stage Basic is the version for demanding users who work with PDF documents often and want to add personal notes and comments as well as be able to mark sections of text. Import and export functions for various graphic and text formats are also available. The following table includes additional functions available, without limitations, to you with CABAReT Stage Basic:

General function overview

You can write comments and save them as part of the PDF file. You can add personal notes, highlight sections of text and underline or strike through text. All comments about the markings will be presented in a pop-up window, in which you may add additional information.

• Insert free-hand drawings, lines and geometric figures
• Record general information about the drawing's elements
• Insert notes, i.e. as explanations to the document
• Mark texts, highlight texts
• Attach desired files to the PDF document

Export PDF documents as images and import images into PDF-documents

As part of the export function you can convert text and pictures in PDF documents into an image format. When saving in an image format each page will be saved as a separate file. Equally you can convert an image format into a PDF document as part of the import function.

Import HTML and convert to PDF

A conversion of HTML pages into the PDF format is available through import function. The HTML formatting will be hereby transferred into the PDF file and and the page borders will be automatically adjusted. The transfer process does not require any manual help.

• Convert from XHTML and HTML
• Acceptance of page overflowing table headings
• Supports nested tables
• Maintains Hyperlinks in the PDF document
• Partially supports cascading style sheets
• HTML entry fields are converted to PDF form fields, JavaScript-EventHandler maintained

Note:
Additional functions that are normally only available in the "Professional" version are available in the "Basic" version to test. When using these functions a notice window will appear. If you continue working a watermark will be added to your document
